Cabin Carved is the work of Amy and Fox, whose handmade wooden pieces reflect a life shaped around craft and simple living. Much of their work began while travelling and working from a small converted campervan in the Scottish Highlands, where a compact workspace became the centre of their creative world.
Working from a handmade desk inside the van, Amy spent long hours weaving, spinning and developing her craft while surrounded by lochs, forests and the changing landscape of Scotland. The experience of shaping a small space to support creative work became an important part of the story behind the objects they now make.
Today their work continues to reflect that same spirit of thoughtful craftsmanship and connection to place, producing small handmade pieces that carry the character of both the maker and the materials used.
