Returns must be made with the original packaging and labels intact. The item should not have been worn or used unless it is faulty.
In-store purchases: You have 30 days from the date of purchase to exchange items. You must provide a valid receipt for us to process the exchange.
Gift Receipts: Items purchased with a gift receipt can be exchanged Within 30 days from purchase, For an item of equal value.
Sale Items: You have 14 days to exchange Sale items for items of equal value.
Faulty items: A proof of purchase is required for any returns or exchanges on faulty goods.
Online orders: You have 30 days from the purchase date to return or exchange items from our online store. Refunds will be processed after we receive and inspect the item to ensure it is in sellable condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

At Logie Timber, we offer a seven-day money back guarantee from the date of delivery– no questions asked. However, if you have chosen to collect your order, the 7 days will begin from the day of order completion.
Even with the best products, equipment and quality control, timber can sometimes be temperamental. Therefore, our policy is to refund or replace any section of timber – bought or delivered by us within seven days – that doesn’t meet the necessary standard.

Returns policy Hard Wood Logie Timber
At Logie Timber, we take pride in supplying premium quality dressed hardwood timber, custom-cut to meet our clients’ specific needs. Due to the nature of our products and the customisation involved, we have the following returns policy in place:
1. Custom-Cut Orders
All dressed hardwood timber orders are cut as close as possible to the client’s specifications. Timber may sometimes be supplied in slightly larger dimensions to allow for trimming and fitting by the joiner or client.
By accepting the quote, the client acknowledges and agrees to the specifications, quantities, and terms outlined. This acceptance constitutes a binding agreement between the client and Logie Timber.
Once an order has been processed and cut, it cannot be cancelled or returned due to change of mind or incorrect measurements provided by the client.
We strongly advise all customers to double-check all measurements and specifications before accepting the quote.
We also use the following standard terminology when quoting and processing orders:
- DWE – Double Waney Edge
- SWE – Single Waney Edge
- PSE – Planed Square Edge
- KD – Kilned Dried
- OS – Off Saw
If you are unsure about any terms used in the quote, please ask for clarification before accepting. Acceptance of the quote confirms your understanding and agreement to the specifications provided.
2. Change of Mind
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for timber that has been delivered as ordered, where the client has changed their mind post-delivery or post-cutting.
3. Used or Installed Timber
Timber that has been used, installed, cut, modified, or altered in any way by the client is not eligible for return or refund.
4. Incorrect Measurements by Client
We are not responsible for errors in measurements provided by the client. Timber cut to incorrect specifications due to client error is not eligible for return or refund.
All measurements must be supplied in the following format:
Width (mm) × Thickness (mm) × Length (metres).
We work in millimetres (mm) for width and thickness, and metres (m) for length. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all measurements are converted and submitted correctly. Miscommunication due to incorrect or inconsistent units is considered a client error.
5. Natural Variations
Each tree is unique. Variations in colour, grain figure, and texture are natural characteristics of hardwood timber and are not considered defects. Clients should expect some degree of variation in appearance between individual pieces, even within the same species or batch.
6. Damaged or Defective Timber
If you believe the timber you have received is damaged or defective on arrival, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. We will assess the claim and, if valid, arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.
7. Discretionary Returns
In exceptional cases, and solely at our discretion, we may accept returns of unused timber in its original condition. A restocking fee and collection fee may apply.
