The rustic natural charm of single waney edge cladding is hard to resist. It is a cladding process that has been around for many, many years and is by far the simplest and cheapest option to clad an external wall.

We aim to give a width (from the back straight edge to the front bark or waney edge) from 150-250mm but there can be some variation in this as the natural shapes of the logs are reflected in the boards.

We recommend a minimum overlap of 50mm on the boards so when working out the coverage required, we use an average of 200mm boards minus the 50mm overlap giving a measurement of 150mm to work out the required coverage.
